SUBMITTAL AND REVIEW PROCEDURES 
CERTIFICATION OF GROUNDWATER AVAILABILITY FOR PLATTING FORM
Adopted by SUWCD Board of Directors April 1, 2022
As Required by SUWCD Rules & Lampasas County Subdivision Rules

These procedures have been adopted by the Saratoga Underground Water Conservation District Board of Directors in accordance with SUWCD Rules Section 7.3 Groundwater Availability Assessments and Section 11.1 Permit Application and Other Fees.

1. CERTIFICATION OF GROUNDWATER AVAILABILITY FOR PLATTING FORM (Lampasas County Subdivision Rules, Appendix T) and analysis shall be submitted for review concurrently to the County and to the District.
2. Prior to any review of the submittal by SUWCD, the submitting entity shall forward the required fees to SUWCD.  See fee instructions below.
3. Upon receipt of the required fees, SUWCD will determine if the submittal is administratively complete.
4. The SUWCD will forward administratively complete submittals to a third party engineering firm for technical review.
5. The third party engineering firm will provide a written response to the SUWCD within 10 business days.
6. SUWCD will provide the results of the review to the County within 5 business days.
7. The County will notify the applicant of the review received from SWUCD as part of the County plat review process.
8. SUWCD will invoice the applicant for additional charges as related to resubmittals or additional expenses incurred by the SUWCD for a complete review.

 
Required Fees for Each Platted Subdivision
 
SUWCD Review and Handling Fee                                               $   500
SUWCD Third Party Engineering Review                                    $1,500
Applicant Fee required With Initial Submittal                            $2,000
 
SUWCD Third Party Engineering Review costs above $1,500 will be reimbursed to SUWCD from the applicant prior to reviews being forwarded by SUWCD to the County.  SUWCD will provide copies of charges above the $1,500 to the applicant.​
